Answer a Maths Riddle - 15 February

Can you find a seven digit number which describes itself. The first digit is the number of zeros in the number. The second digit is the number of ones in the number, etc. For example, in the number 21200, there are 2 zeros, 1 one, 2 twos, 0 threes and 0 fours.

1. 3211000
3 zeros
2 ones
1 two
1 three
0 fours
0 fives
0 sixes

1. The first digit is the number of zeros in the number. ???

1. should be 6000001

2. 5000010 that's better

3. except, now you have a 1 so the number would need to change. It could be 521001000 or 6210001000

4. Oops, missed the fact that is has to be 7 digits. The above two examples won't work.

2. Tell me who I am! Who I am!
Take away from me the number eight,
Divide further by a dozen to come up with
A full team for a game of cricket!

3. These are the steps. You start with 6000000 because there are 6 zeros but then you have to add 1 in the 6 spot because there would've been 6 zeros. Now you have 5000010. However now you have one 1 so you must have the number 5100010 now. Since you now only have 4 zeros, your number becomes 4100100. Now you have 2 ones so your number is 4200100. Now, since you have a 2, your number is 4210100. Now you only have 3 zeros so,therefore your number is 3211000. Hope you guys get it now, or at least the confused people :).
