Logical Problem - 4 May

A shopkeeper sell stuff as :
Buy 1 for Rs 1.0
10 for Rs 2.0
100 for Rs 3.0
I needed 913 and still i only paid Rs 3.0
How could this be possible ?

  1. The price of all the goods from that shop is the same as the number of digits of the quantity of the products. Since 913 has 3 digits,he paid only Rs 3 for 913.

  2. Buy 100 for Rs 3.0
    Sell 75 pcs for : 10 Rs 2.0, subtotal Rs 15.0
    Sell 12 pcs for : 1 Rs 1.0, subtotal Rs 12.0
Total sold 87 pcs for Rs 27.0

    Buy 9 :100 for Rs 3.0, subtotal 900 pcs : Rs 27.0
    Total remaining 900+13=913
