Manish recounted his dismal discovery to Detective FBI detective Donald, who happens to be around the scene.
'I was walking by Mr. Rakesh's house when I thought I would just pop in for a visit. I noticed his bedroom light was on and I decided to peek in from the outside to see if he was in there. There was frost on the window, so I had to wipe it away to see inside. That is when I saw his body. So I kicked in the front door to confirm my suspicions of foul play. I called the police immediately afterward.'
With clue from Detective FBI detective Donald, the police officer immediately arrested Manish for the murder of Mr. Rakesh. How did he know Manish was lying?

Manish found the body in the bedroom.. But said he checked the study room and found the body there...
ReplyDeleteBriliant deduction, I would have to deduce that the police confirmed the victim was found dead in his bedroom but the suspects statement has a main hole in his alibi by saying he found the body in a room with a study light which you can obviously conclude that he was referring to the study room exposing him as the true murderer by ironically and rhetorically confessing to the cold blooded crime, unless he killed him and moved the body but that's just going askew but this one was rather astonishing
