**Math Logic Puzzle - 6 August**

In a guess game , five friends had to guess the exact numbers of apples in a covered basket.

Friends guessed as 22 , 24, 29 , 33 , 38, but none of guess was right.The guesses were off by 1, 8, 6, 3, and 8 (in a random order).

From this information, can you determine the number of apples in a basket ?

there have been 30 apples

ReplyDelete22 and 38 are 16 separted from each other

as there have not been two equal guesses the difference of 8 has occured on two different numbers - which most likely will be 8*2 = 16 separted from each other. The lower number +8 or the higher number -8 is the correct amount

numbers and differences are:

22 24 29 33 38
