### Logical Puzzle Asked In Interview

Logical Puzzle Asked In Interview - 18 December

I organized a small get together at my home.
In the party , i have a barrel with some whiskey in it.

Suddenly Guest 1 say 'I bet this barrel of whiskey is more than half full'.
'No, its less than half full' Guest 2 replied.

I don't have any measuring instrument and without removing whiskey from it , how can i determine which of the guest is right ?

1. Lean the barrel (inclined position) in such a way that the whiskey does not spill out but it is inclined to the max possible extent. If the bottom of the barrel is slightly visible in such position then it is less than half filled.
If the bottom of the barrel is Not visible in such position then it is more than half filled.

2. i will tilt the barrel

3. ADD HALF BARREL WATER TO THE IT AMOUNT WATER TO THE BARREL IF WATER IS IN EXCESS THEN WHISKEY IN BARREL IS MORE THAN HALF BARREL,AND WISE VERSE.

4. make hole in the center of the barrel. if whiskey leaks it is more than a half. otherwise less than half.

5. Rotate the barrel 90° so that the tap is on the horizontal centreline of the end of the barrel. Make sure the barrel is level, end to end. Open the tap. If the barrel is more than half full, whisky will come out, if less than half full, nothing will come out.

1. For the barrel type given in the figure, this is the best solution. Slight improvement to solution is that if nothing comes out then definitely less than half, but if some thing comes one has to see whether it is due to the whiskey level above the central level of tap opening dia or not.

6. shake and turn the barrel upside down then you will surely get it...

7. tilt the barrel on ground, if it will more than half it will rolled on groud as cetre of ggravity will not stable at a point so body will rolled on floor to make it stable .
and if the barrel will be less than half it will not rolled on ground
