    1. Agree.

      This is the sequence of events. Can easily be worked out by working backwards.

      P = Prinka, T = Tanu, V = Vidushi
      0) P:39, T:21, V:12
      P->21->T, P->12->V
      1) P:6, T:42, V:24
      T->6->P, T->24->V
      2) P:12, T:12, V:48
      V->12->P, V->24->T
      3) P:24 T:24 V:24

  2. Prinka had 39 , tanu had 21 and vidushi had 12 chocolates initially.

    Solve the problem in reverse way as below :
    Prinka Tanu Vidushi
    24 24 24
    12 12 48
    6 42 24
    39 21 12

  5. I think the mathematically correct answer is the below one
    starting with

    P T V

    P-T-V 2T 2V

    2(P-T-V) 2T-2P+2T+2V-2V 4V

    2P-2T-2V 4T-2P 4V

    3 EQUATIONS EACH IS EQUAL TO 24, Hence

    ^ 4V = 24 """ V=6 """

    ^ 4T-2P = 24

    4T-24 = 2P

    ^ 2P-2T-2V = 24

    4T-24-2T-2V = 24

    2T-24-12=24

    2T = 60 """ T=30 """
    &
    """ P=48 """
