i.e 9 18 27 36 45 ...

and the resulting number consist of only one digit.

  3. 12345679 multiplied by 90 (multiple of 9) is 1111111110
    so the given answer is not valid for multiple of 9 above 90... Question should have been "multiple of 9 between 9,18...81"...

    Because, 9, 18,27,36,45…
    9=>9
    18=>1+8=9
    27=>2+7=9
    36=>3+6=9
    45=>4+5=9
    …..
    …..

  5. 12345679 doesn't work. The one I tried was 108 (which gave 133333332).

    Only one that works is zero (0). That will give a single digit no matter *what* it multiplies with, multiple of 9 or not.
