  1. After
    A(A-2)=A-2
    next step should be
    A(A-2)-A+2=0
    And then
    A^2-3A+2=0

    now solve this equation A , answer will be 1 and 2

  2. To get from A(A-2) =A-2 to A=1 you divided by zero. 0/0 does not equal 1.

  5. Logic:
    A-2 = 0 so we can not divide by 0 in line 5

  6. A(A-2)=A-2 to reach the step after this we cannot divide both sides by 0.

  7. As A-2=0, we can not divide LHS and RHS by A-2.....

  8. A = 2
    A(A-1) = 2(A-1)
    This sentence is wrong
    If you multiply something in both sides of an equation IT SHOULD NOT BE ZERO cuz it will be always correct
    eg.
    1 = 100
    1(0) = 100(0)
    0 = 0 is correct
    thus 1 = 100 is correct
