While going to your grandmother's house, you counted seventeen houses on the right side. While returning back to your home, you counted seventeen houses on the left side.

    I had never counted the houses on the other side.
    All I know is that there are 17 houses on one side.But the number of houses on the other side are unknown.

  6. between the 2 houses of mine and my grandmother.........there will be only 15 house......1st house is mine and my grandmother's is the 17th......on the way back.....the situation is vice versa

  7. it will be 17 because at the time of going he saw 17 house at the right side but at the time of coming back the right side will become left side , i.e he saw only 17 houses in between his house and his grandmothers house...............
