**Equal Jars Water Riddle - 9 April**

You have 21 jars with you. Out of them, 7 are filled with water, 7 are half-full with water and 7 are empty. How will you distribute the jars among three people such that each one of them gets the equal number of jars and equal amount of water?

Take the 7 jars that are full and, for each one, pour half of it into one of the empty jars. Then, give everyone 7 jars and they will all have 3.5 units of water.

ReplyDeletetake 4 half-full jars and make them '2 full jars + 2 empty jars'.

ReplyDeletenow we have 9 full jars, 3 half-full jars and 9 empty jars. this can be divided easily into three as: 3 full jars, 1 half-full jar and 3 empty jars.
