  3. because he is a miget and when he goes to work he can reach the level 1 button but when he comes back he only can reach the 7th floor button and walks the rest of the way but when it is raining he has an umbrella th reach the 10th floor or when some one else is with him they could reach the button for him

  5. switch on 1st switch button. after some time switch on 2nd and switch off 1st and enter in room ,if bulb is on then 2nd switch is connected to bulb,if bulb is off,touch the bulb if it is hot then 1st switch is connected to bulb and if bulb is cool 3rd switch is connected to bulb.

    Surely the last line of this puzzle should read... "Why did he want NINE?
